So here’s the run down. I started with the exhaust at 109, transfers at 127.5, intake at 69 and 0.033” squish. @rattler took 0.012” off the base. With the base cut the exhaust went to 110.5, transfers to 131.0, intake to 70.0, and squish to 0.024”. I sat down to the bench and after some time flaking aluminum the final numbers were, exhaust 103.0, transfers 124.5, and the intake at 73.0. Got it all back together with a new clutch bell, sprocket, pulse port grommet, intake boot, fuel line and filter. Ended up removing the spark screen from the muffler, split the muffler in half and removed the internal baffle and other exhaust restrictions. No room to add another muffler mod without cutting the top cover so it’s still running the original deflector in the original position. Video of first cuts to follow and more pictures of reassembly. Oh and final piss rev of 13,800

I know I’m no feller, and this is gunna make a few cringe, but I wanted to post it as a comparison of the 55 before being “squatched”. This was taken a few years ago as I was dropping a pine on my land. Listen to the 55 trying to get through pine!! Some will probly say it was carb tune, I’ll be the first to admit tuning a carb isn’t my cup of tea. I’m a diesel head by heart. Lol!! Hope you guys enjoy!!
