Is a 272 top end a direct bolt-on fit?
I'll measure em.The only potential issue is the size of the carb bolts and the size of the bolt holes in the intake block... there were m4 and m5's.
4mm carb bolts is what I have
Great saws. You know me I'm a husky guy, there's a reason. Some are dam near indestructible. So what's the deal with 268's?
Good runners?
I cant remember right off... what bearings do these take Jeremy?Crank bearings

Huh?Depending on the cylinder you get, you might have to get larger bolts and drill out or get another block. The other option is to use the small bolts in the larger cylinder holes. I've had good luck wrapping a rubber band around the muffler, cylinder, and the air filter mount, holding everything tightly together and preventing an air leak at the carb. You have to put a new rubber band on every few cuts, as there is an issue with melting, but it does work ok.
It was a joke brahHuh?
dont forget to replace the o-ring on the back of the oil pump too.
This one looks in good shape.I have yet to have an issue smearing some anaerobic on a used one (I'm serious about this post).
i dont remember, are you thinking for depth purposes? This one looks in good shape.
I'll put some Yamabond around the OD.
Looks to me like the oiler needs to be mounted when installing the PTO bearing?
