Welp, we actually got the wrong ring from the dealer. Part number was correct, just made a miskake. So, I ended up using the ring that came with it. Im freakin crazy I know, but, I added an extra dollup of oil to the gas for more lubrimication.
I started it up, the clutch decide to take a little ride. I put the saw down and I chased the darn thing around like an idiot. Gonna need a new clutch drum bearing now:rolleyes:.

Shrink wrap will cover that nicely bub. Or, you could make a new kill wire, I have lots of connectors that will work perfectly.

That electrical dip coating stuff in a can is pretty handy for such things too. Prolly about a $7 wire there.
