If you do get replacements, make sure if yours has coarse threads or fine threads. Not sure if the 2100s have the same issue, but I had a 272 that I bought the coarse threaded AV mounts for and it required fine threads - of course the harder and more expensive ones to find.

I noticed that the saw is a little wobbly and my hand on the bar would touch the top cover when it would dig in. I assume I need to replace the AV mounts, are the AM ones good enough?

Do you have the tool for them? I don't and have been using needle nose pliers and have boogered up a few doing it. I need to get the AV tool or make one!

Same here. They both bent. Very poor steel.

I had these hardened steel flat wrenches that were in my scrap metal bin...
Working great. Made all 3 sizes.

If you look close at the end of the tool (rounded end) there are two nubs on the end, I think it also fits down and around the AV mount and those two nubs fit in the metal slot of the AV mount allowing you to turn it. I don't have one, I just assumed that is how it worked from looking at it.
