Matto did a study on this and I think the black echo line is a good substitute.

Yes...and the way to double check is two fold. It has to fit in the hole snuggly to seal on the outside...but not be thick enough for the lumen to close completely. So put a small piece of line through the tank opening....cut it short on the outside and check the lumen diameter with a drill bit. If it's patent. ..u r good :)

Does this plug right into the husky 35o vent spot once the puck(s) removed??? Anyone try it yet?

Maybe with some glue to hold it in, or a correct oring to seal and hold

Well, the parts arrived and the problem seems to be solved. With both pucks installed I can lay the saw on its side and it does not leak.

If you look at a parts diagram, the small one that goes in first is called a valve, the outer larger piece is called a plug. Strange as both seem to be made of the same material.

If yall will allow me a serious post on this thread for a second.. just looked on some parts diagrams and it seem that BOTH are supposed to be used... Pretty sure my dealer set me up with just the large outer one... Bet that's my problem... Just ordered both, will report back results.

Back to the puckin' show! :D

What were the part numbers for the little puck and the big puck?

thanks, if found the larger one for $1.99 at Twin City Saw in St. Paul, MN , the last one they had and they will order a couple more
It sort of popped in the spot, not much holding it there though
Couple little dabs of yamabond works great to hold them in.

Am doing another 350 to 346xp top end conversion but using a tank with a primer bulb set up but am using a carb with no primer line attachment.

Rather than just block off the nipple where the gas normally returns to the tank from the primer bulb I added an extra ECHO tank vent right there like this, killing two birds with one stone...
