I like to put a thin layer of Motoseal on the outside portion of the seals when replacing them. I have had a few leak at the metal to metal contact surface. I have yet to have one leak with the thin layer of sealant. I hate having to reorder seals I just bought...

Every saw "not running right" that comes thru my door gets a comp test with the owner standing there. Saves me calling them to come get "your POS" and cluttering up my area of operation.
