Seriously, This thing has been great since day one. Today I pulled it out and well, it came apart. I can’t seem to get it lined up. The inner splined shaft isn’t centered in the tube and won’t line up. Any tricks?
How tight should the screws be once I do it is together?
Put the motor end against a wall, line up the notches in the coupling section, and move the chain by hand while applying light pressure to the coupling section.
Do they loosen after a while? This really slowed my down. I had to climb a little today with a top handle. I like my feet firmly planted on the ground.
You're welcome. Over time a little bit of play develops in the two coupling ends. I came up with that method on a repair last year. I'm just glad I could remember what I did.
