Yes but a rewarding one... I'd actually prefer to fly but I'm still a ways out physically (back surgery recovery) and financially from completing my VFR ticket and being able to fly myself...

Although I have a line on a NICE Bonanza that could probably be mine for about 35K... It's all about the priorities. Now if I can get the boss to agree...

Got woke up about 4 o'clock this morning one of my girls was throw up sick so I spent the day with her... My wife took care of our year and a half old that has an ammonia. The only thing productive I got done was when they both fell asleep I filed .025 off the key on my 026.

That sucks. There are precious few feelings worse than having a sick child knowing that you can't resolve it for them... A buddy at work has a 7 year old son who is fighting bone marrow cancer (whatever the #### it's called). He's made it about 2 years beyond the initial predictions by the grace of God, but I can't imagine, nor do I want to, what that would be like. Hell the common cold, pneumonia and strep throat are bad enough...

There are families out there that battle with unbelievable circumstances. I have a new found respect for them. My little 15 month old has spent months in the hospital and has had a hard go. She is doing well and her future is bright. All the days/nights we spent in the hospital We learned real fast the difficulties some family's face.

Hell the worst I ever experienced was a tossup between a week in the hospital in 1st grade courtesy of pneumonia, burning my left arm (2nd °) as a teenager or dealing with Mono as a teenager. These are nothing compared with what you and others have dealt with. It's also different when comparing what you went through versus watching any child go through the same...

Today........I worked on chainsaws.

BUT........it snowed about 4" of nice fluffy snow.......and the kids had a blast dragging a old hood with the four wheeler. :)
When I was a kid, we had a hood with a bench seat bolted to it... but we didn't have a 4 wheeler. We used a truck.
