But I've been wrong before and will be again.

I just finished this stihl chain that I converted over to Square that I have had for a long while now. I think it will cut decent.
Here's my thoughts on stihl chain vs. Oregon. I have been told by many others that stihl chain is a much harder chain to file. In my experience it's all in the user using the filing that will make filing stihl chain hard or easy. My personal experience with it so far has been good.

Even in Oz land we can get decent round files for fair prices $12-24 per dozen. Square chisel files are $27 each at the stealership. So I like to make em last, the single bevel Vallorbe have been good.
