Busy as a one armed paper hanger at the moment, but I will see if I can get my wife to take one next time I sharpen.

I've demonstrated it at a few GTGs in the area.

Practicing some more... tried my best to do what Deets066 described by removing that “shelf” between the square and round portion of the cutter. Tweaked my angles some more as well. Almost “corner to corner”. I got a side about 1/2 done over a span of 5 hours and decided to call it quits lol

Austin, one tip for getting a clear pic is to zoom in all the way, then back your phone up until the pic clears up on its own. Usually works for me.

Looks like you have one corner dialed in, and the other is low. Is that side plate still leaning back, or is it just the angle we're looking from?

Its the picture angle. I thought it was leaning back but I looked at it from the other side and it was fine. And that second cutter I went ahead and fixed it up AFTER I took the pic. Having brainfarts left and right

Wow, that is a lot of forward lean!

Heck with the pics, if the chain draws into the wood when you cut (self feeds), it is fine, if not the angle is not OK.

Testing Mike...cuts great in clean wood and has held the edge very well!

My 3/8LP usually has that much lean. Cuts great and stays sharp for a long time.

Under top plate was a little steep on this chain. But I was just showing reference for forward lean. This is about how much I like.
