This is my latest square filed chain. Not great, but I still try my hardest to get this down.
It cuts ok. Just a work chain.

That looks like it would cut better than "ok". Anything specific you aren't happy with?

Meh.. just a little grabby. I wouldn't try to bore cut with it. Lol
I just had to lower my rakers on my AWOL 562 almost that low with my square ground for it to self feed with a 7 pin instead of an 8 that I usually run. My AWOL 2171 is the same way. Guess it's just all that horsepower! :)

I will check for you.
There's not too much cutter left making the gullet fairly wide. The rakers are low but might not be as grabby in the wood as you might think. If It was mine I'd put it in wood just being careful.

Here is the one I was talking about. This one feeds smooth and cuts good. Idk why I had to go so low on the rakers. Maybe I need more forward lean?
