There are calculators on line for building pipes that you can put information into like rpm/engine size ect. These will give you a start for length/diameter/ stinger or not how long of stinger. And yes it will be a start you may need to alter length of cone, stinger or overall length to get it to run as desired. You may also get the pipe close but need to tweak the porting to get the most of it. Then when that’s done you may need to put on a new carb because the pipe flows and pulls so much charge you need a bigger one. It’s a rabbit hole and a ton of work to get it right, I’ve never done one but know a few who have tried on snowmobiles with mixed results. You will also need a slip roll to make cones ect for the pipe usually lots more involved than plugging in numbers and just building it.
