Hls ms290 cylinder kit review.

I'm still gathering parts to throw this saw together, but pics of the top end are a start. This cylinder is much better than the others I've seen in this round of reviews. Not OEM quality as mentioned on the box, but not terrible.

Nothing too out of the ordinary here. The skirts of the piston are different thicknesses. Probably not a big deal but it was noticable.

Apparently I gave away all my fuel and oil lines for these and I used my last 6203 bearings last week so as soon as I get some here I can start a quick and dirty rebuild. Should grab a carb kit too I guess.

I still will not be able to wrap my head around the reason these am tops are made in anything other than 49mm.

I've seen oem cylinders worse than that.
