The verdict in the Jason Stockley case was announced today..............not guilty.
Stockley was a cop in St. Louis who shot a black guy six times while the guy was sitting in his car. The prosecution claimed that Stockley planted a throw down gun in the guys car, after shooting him. He was also recorded, while in pursuit of the dead guy, saying I'm gonna kill that motherphucker. This was a bench trial, with a judge that's retiring in a couple of months.
No one thought this guy was going to walk!

The mayor, a liberal female, was outraged by the verdict and the Governor, an ex Navy Seal, was outraged by the Mayor's comments. The Police and National guard are spooling up in staging areas and the Indians are gathering and working themselves into a frenzy.

It's shaping up to be a pretty decent game of Cowboys and *a-holes.

Earlier today about half of the *f-wordtards protesting were white.
In recent video on the 10 o'clock news, there's not a white face in sight.
The poor girl reporting on the scene, had a guy carrying a Javelin walk up to her. I'm pretty sure she wet her pants.

Even that is a label...we are all humans. And if we can look at each other in that context, and respect that we each do the best we can each day in making our choices with what we have in front of us, so many "issues" disappear!
We tend to judge others based on our own experience, and this is flawed. Even if one is willing to "walk in another's shoes", we can never truly do that. Understanding this, allows us to give latitude to others, and to develop mutual respect for them.
