Looks good but needs a GFY somewhere and it's performance. Not that I'm nit picking or anything.

Speaking for just me. ......................
I'd really preferr if the GFY was left off ............. I got 4 kids, little one is 2.
I'd get more shirts from the forums if it were more family friendly

That Johnny-Red has me salivating!!

What Husky would the 2083 be equivalent to??

None, it was a Poulan design.

Not a Poulan design, but a Partner design. The saws were made by Husky, and branded as Partner, Jonsered and Poulan Pro. There were no Husky versions.

Different versions of 65, 71, 77 and 82cc were made, the 2083II is 77cc.

Thank you Sir. :)

I did a little more digging on the 2083 and the earlier ones sure seem to be an interesting size to me. Going on the specs posted by Philbert, the later ones like the one posted here seem like they would be very similar in performance to my 372 XPW.

Interesting saw IMHO.

Probably more torque than the xpw. The 82cc version is strong stock.
