Hope someone has the answer. A guy about 30 miles from me has a Husky listed with a 28” bar. He has it listed as a 54L1. Can’t see a model # in pics. Asked him and he didn’t know the cc. Anybody know what it might be, what cc, price? Thanks.

Thanks guys. He said he’s already been offered $450! If it’s a 266/268 then for me I’ll just stick my 6401’s.

I would say it's a 266. That top cover has different mounts specific to the 266 case and only two of the mounts match up to a 268/272 case.

Same top cover as a 61, correct?

Sg denotes heated grip right J? This one looks to be in fairly decent shape.

If it is the one below with the wrap handle it looks like a 266 I have. Mine is heated and I did not see the switch under the kill switch like mine. Anything is possible though. ad picture.jpg

I believe so - I've heard of people putting the white tops on 266s and 162s.

Yessir - those old G saws are hard to find in working order. The heating elements don't last long I don't think.
