I have one of those red 009s that is mint. I've tried once to make it stop leaking......but haven't had a chance to revisit it.
dont think i will finish this saw because of the air leak issueI grew up with these saws. We had a few red ones that ran for years. My pap was actually the repair man in those days and never liked the red ones so we moved on to the gray versions... Then, we found shindaiwa and never bought a stihl again. Hallelujah.

ill check out our Stihl dealer here in OZI think that's the right stuff Peter. I get it from a Stihl dealer, and don't know if it is more fuel resistant than that is or not.
