yes it is. it is one of the best for bench filing & grinding.

There is a flat bar on the underside that goes up and down,, works good.

Ebay has a few Oregon Gaugits but they are all fixed depth, unfortunately.

Adjust. depth gauge TBL 24 for def. checks of the depth limit distance on saw chains with pitch 1/4", 3/8“ LP, .325“, 3/8“,.404.
