Terry Syd mentioned a 77cc head for his 365. Is that the 52mm bore kit? Does anyone have a link to a 77cc kit? Sounds like it would make for a mean little 365.

I'm a bit confused because I thought I read something like 372XPW (not sure if those letters are correct?) actually has a larger displacement than a regular 372.
Is this true?

LOL, waaayyyy too many numbers, info, and rocks rolling around my head. ;)

You could go to the hutzl website before but not on a phone computer only.
I've used a lot of the big bore kits and parts and they are holding up just fine glad you brought this up been thinking of one myself lol

Wonder why they chose the 48mm top end for this kit. A 50mm or 52mm kit would be far more interesting, and wouldn't cost any more either.

Yep, it is the 52mm bore. The jug and piston need a bit of work to allow the transfers to flow, otherwise you will just have a torquey 365. The sides of the cylinder need to be raised, the underside of the piston trimmed and a couple of holes drilled in the side of the piston. With those mods it runs like a 77cc saw should.

The carb also should be modded. For the Chinese C3M on the saw I drilled the idle and auxiliary jet to .35mm and drilled the first air-bleed/transition hole to .55mm. Poleman on this site does those type of carb mods.

It was about 6-7 years ago that I got it. They used to be fairly common on the 'net, but I haven't been looking to see if they are still available - I haven't felt the need, this one is still going strong. I had some problems with the tank vent and modified it, broke a clutch spring and I also clogged the fuel filter and had to replace it. It just keeps going...

Haven't seen one on here, was wondering about quality.
Parts missing and so on
Some parts seem to function and look just like oem. Only negatives, do not care for their rings or 365/372 cases, have had two crack at upper inner felling spike bolt hole (leaves a nice sized hole). Casting looked very porous. If you shop for used oem parts or find a roasted complete saw, I have saved and run several for under $300 (Like complete saws, small parts add up fast). Also do not care for am air filters.

I have three Huztl 372 and an 365 that I bought complete. No big issues the first 372 I had to put a higher quality oil pump & carb idle screw kept falling out. Had to trim the tray on all three to give intake boot proper clearance. No base gasket on them. Also jug bolt broke after one month useage on first saw so I upgraded the hardware

Those are like the G372xp's from Farmertec/Holzfforma. With those blocky handles and plastic carb bracket. Must be from the same source, and they are different than the kits or g372 power head with the low top filter. They obviously run though, right? I struggled a bit to find consistency in the carburetor settings from day to day on mine. Those are Also different than the kits. So I bought the "Huztl" gas tank handle and plastic along with chain brake parts to get it to the same level fit & finish as the Kits and G372's. Also it's getting the aluminum carb bracket. Bob found the cylinder flanges on his kit was too long, the trimming of that "tray" is a catch all solution....works. :) I like the G372 ( their supposed 48mm with a low top ) better as a starting point because it comes with the better tank/handle/plastic etc. Less finicky to tune, Better chain brake parts too. The kits are pretty much the same as the g372's but have 50mm top ends. That g372 ran well. No power house but it always started easy. It's biggest issue was the tray/boot interference and the bar oil slot in the case under the bar was off a little. Not enough to matter with a 20in bar, and nothing a die grinder can't help with.
