I use one for stumping it is a HLS 24 bar I got on sale and for low maintenance. Definitely have to open up the oiler holes.

I've got my brothers 20 inch husky. Hardnose bar it still looks great he used it a year on a 288 for small stuff i will try it out see if i can tell a difference.

Ironically, many of the hardnose bars cost more than an equivalent size sprocket nose. I've got a few but never use them.
