Well, he's 4 years old and stubborn so pushing him to work wouldn't be a successful endeavor. But, he has been eyeballing a new John Deere Gator.

Yes, I agree with you on that point. What I meant was, if he is already itching to use the real thing, then a plug in electric weedeater would be an easy and safe way to learn. That's how I learned to use a weedeater. I was a weird kid who thought that farm and lawn equipment was the funnest thing in the world outside of hunting and fishing.

At that age I was already begging my dad to let me try driving the tractor. When we visited my grandparents, Paw would pull his Huffy Sheraton riding mower out of the shed so I could pretend to drive it.
