Handle bar hose How’s it done?

How do you guys do it? It will just barely stretch over the bar. Hmm..

Lots of dish soap to make it slide on and a touch of compressed air in the tubing to help stretch it on the bar

@Glock37 is a pro at putting new rubber on an old bar.

That’s great! I use compressed air to stretch firesleeve over rubber hose. It never occurred to me.
I’m giving it a go now.

Dawn. Lots and lots and f-ing LOTS of Dawn, and plenty of heat from a heat gun. I spent three or so freakin hours putting new Stihl tubing on a Pro Safety 288 wrap, and I'll be damned if I do that again without a very good reason! FYI, the air trick only works if the wrap isn't made out of hollow pipe or if it has plugs at the ends.

I do a stihl handle in about a min with air
Screw handle down to a block of wood in vise

Place a piece of tape over end of handle to cover the small holes into handle
Pressure all 33 ft of hose with a valve
Spray dawn and water on handle
Now handle has been repowdered
Take pressure up to about 40 lbs and start pushing hose on untill you get it onto the round spot on handle then increase pressure untill u can just push hose on and around to where you what it reduce pressure Scote the hose where you want it then pressure hose and it will blow of handle
It will move alittle untill dawn and water dry then to gets locked on

Dont pug the oppisite end from where you putting hose on i blew up a handle doing that i have to send it to shawn soon for repair
