I need to get going on my custom made Cornelian Cherry ax handle, this one is giving in.
It'll receive another duck tape bandaid to get me through the weekend.

Quick fix implemented, DragonSlayer is back in action!

There are two grain following cracks in that handle, I have been bandaiding them for a couple years now - it may look stupid, but it works.



Now, lets resume hand splitting Turkey Oak rounds!

A little bit of chaffing of the office duck tape, but the handle behaved as if it wasn't cracked in two places.
I will get more productivity out of this handle no problem.




Yes, the blade is very dull!
I can no longer afford to grind away at it till I get a confirmed backup DragonSlayer.

Oddly enough it works fine completely dull!

Sliced the rounds up on the ground.


Then further chopped them down on the chopping block.
Took 20 minutes, no notable knotty pieces.

How tall are you? I am 180cm and use x27 for everything.
