What did you use to cut your wedge notch? Looks nice and wide for a good thick wedge.

And what model Dolmar is that in your avatar? Never seen one with a high top.

I use a normal wood saw too cut the wedge notch then I put the handle back
The vice and squash t(e cut closed then I go down through with the same
Hand saw and when you take it out the vice you got a darn good slot

The saw in the avatar is a ps-9010 2016 model

Very smart never thought of pinching the cut together and cutting it again. I use a hand saw as well but never get the double width like you have. Thanks!

I’ve tried doing it on the table saw with the wider cut but always seem
Too fug it up

I think there’s too many round edges and a round handle never sits straight
On the table and you gotta be sharp shooter too get that saw blade starigth
