Might have to give one of these a look. Better looking than the Ruger or FN. Anybody tried one of the Daggers?

I like steel frame guns the best 1911s and hi powers
here's a new hipower clone from girsan looks good
https://eaacorp.com/product/girsan-mc-p35/
I'll pick one up if my local shop gets any in.
The turkish guns I bought the SDS duty 1911 and SDS tanker .45s
Really impressed me
Very well built and accurate.
I have and have had many 1911s springfield and colt and even a early Kimber
The turkish clones are just as well built
And the fit and finish is better than some I paid twice as much for.
I'm still buying a Springfield sa35
Eventually when prices calm down.
Regent another turkish clone makes a nice hi power
My gunsmith friend swears by them
But they are Springfield priced.

Had my custom paddle holster for the sr9c show up today from Neptune Concealment. They made it custom to fit the tlr3 light. Gun fits tight in the holster, no floppage but draws easily too. No hangup. I'm very pleased with their work

The SR series were really good guns, and Ruger really fumbled with the guns that replaced them. The American pistol is big and heavy and no one cares about it. My LGS only orders them when he absolutely can't get anything else. The Security series just looks like a more spiffy Kel-Tec or Sccy to me and there are much better guns to be had for the same or less money. As in, S&W SD series and Taurus G2 and G3.

Agree 100%. I'm happy to see that so many people still love the old Grande Puissance, the SA-35 is selling for over MSRP on Gunbroker right now. I have one of the last Brownings made by FN (test fired November 2016) and love it. It would be great to have a Turkish clone that I wouldn't care about getting scratched up.

Tried some of this federal punch .22 in my Walther P22. This stuff is loaded hot! Almost sounds like a .22 mag! 29 grain bullet going 1070fps out of a 2" barrel. 1650 fps out of a 24" barrel. I like it.

You should also try Aguila Interceptor 40 grain if you find it. Across my chronograph it clocks 1000 fps out of my little Ruger LCP II and shoots very clean and accurate.

Rock river is getting some updates. This is my first ar I bought back in like 08-09. For anyone that cares, the slimline handguards are the shiznit. Just add low pro gas block. Really, they eliminate the need for foregrips because your sausages can wrap right around them. Makes using a pressure switch easier too

The reduced diameter handguard in my friends Ruger convinced me
I like it far better than the big traditional sized ones.

Do you have any issues with the slimline grips heating up?

I have lots of Blazer, that and the red box Federal is about all they sell around here. Never had an issue with either. I also have that V-Crown in my Hellcat right now
