Picked this beast up a while back. We were hoping to take a deer with it this weekend, but things didn’t work out. We were hunting thicker woods and it would have been perfect for the 45-70.
Nice! The 1895 is on my shortlist of "wants"

I worked with my friend larry for 25 year's
He'd sometimes get in a bind and pawn
His vintage but perfect condition marlin 1894 .44 mag
download (4).jpeg
I told him I'd pay 125.00 for it the next time he needed money and no interest
And he could pay me back
I think he brought it to me 3 time's and I'd have it a few weeks and he'd buy it back
Well his wife got mad at him having to pay me back i guess i was supposed to give him 125.00 every month?
She pawned it for 85.00 and never told him
So he lost it to a pawnshop.

S&W appears to be making leverguns now. They do have a model 1854 in .44 Mag and .45 Colt listed on the website. Sharp looking units

We have them at my shop. They are nice guns with both Marlin and Henry features. That said, S&W has a long track record of making orphan long gun models. Meaning, the odds of getting parts and service on it down the road are not good. I'm not a hater and own many of their handguns, just honest opinion.

Hmm. On the one hand, this is probably the best of all the Glock clones out there. On the other hand, it's pretty sad that Ruger isn't really an innovator anymore.

Not gonna lie, I like the looks of the RXM. I almost picked up a G19x this spring, but I see all the same features in the Ruger that I liked about the 19x, for less money....

We've got 'em at the shop for four bills. They are really nice, look and feel better than other clones I have seen. I've already got two bona fide 19's so I doubt I'll get an RXM unless a spectacular deal comes my way. Still, I would rather have this than any other Ruger 9 since the late great P series.

I'm just surprised that Ruger who traditionally had their own designs went this route
I guess the 1911 was the first non ruger designed pistol they did
Then the ar15 they make.
I'd buy one i know they'll be quality and parts are everywhere.

As I understand it, Bill Ruger was adamant about not making anything that wasn't designed in house from the ground up. Once he got out of the picture they went whole hog in making their own versions of non-Ruger designs. The RXM isn't their first effort at borrowing from Gaston & Co. The SR series was mechanically almost identical but with every part redesigned so as not to be interchangeable. Of course, the LCP is the Kel-Tec P3AT with more upmarket styling. The Ruger American bolt action rifle is awfully close to the Browning A-Bolt.

A gunstore has them for 350.00
No tax here I'll wait somebody will have them for 300.00 like the sd9 or xd series
I always wanted a optics ready glock
I just have a 23 and 30s
And i really like the glock 19/23 size just not the grip angle.
