I've got a hankering for a Walther PDP full size, 4½" bbl.
They keep it on the top shelf? How did I never see this thread before?
Ahh gotcha! Need me a step ladder! They keep it on the top shelf?
I'm hoping it brings a decent price, I ordered it when they were offering the personalized serial numbers.....not sure what that does to the resale value on account of me not being anyone special. That Henry .35 should go above MSRP, those are really hard to find. Even a typical 336 with pushbutton safety is a grand these days.
I've sold lots of stuff on gunbroker in the past and probably should have gone that route again..... but I was hoping for easy, without taking too much of a loss, will see what happens I guess.I doubt that will affect it, you just have to find someone that really wants a .35. Which there are quite a few these days. Honestly, I think you would get a better price on GunBroker due to a much larger exposure to potential buyers.
Auction guy said I can do reserves if things are going stupidly low, but I really don't want to have to do that. You could always put a reserve on it if the auction place will let you. Of course, some people lose their minds at a live auction and you might end up with a handsome price for it.
Glad to see someone is enjoying it.So the last couple years I been on AR kick. Built a rifle and then @leadfarmer showed me his AR pistol. Spent the next couple months building one of those. Fast forward to April of this year I get a call from a buddy at work asking if I checked my ticket? I said what ticket? He says the gun ticket I sold you? Hell I forgot all about it. Well I hit the thing. Added another AR and a couple pistols. Made a trade and upgrade when I picked them up. A few weeks later I make a deal with @Backtroller for a AR10 he just finished building.
Very much so brother and thanks again!Glad to see someone is enjoying it.
Pretty cool build brother!I cobbled this together as a budget build for steel challenge, rimfire. Its a Ruger 10-22 with an aluminum stock made out of 1.5"x1.5", 1/8 thick wall tubing. It balances well, weighs 3.6lbs without optic, 4.2lbs with optic. Stock trigger components modified to get under 3lb pull. I bought a 5" 22lr barrel liner on ebay, pressed it into an aluminum slug and extended it with titanium tube to get 16" legal length. View attachment 425740
