I paid $93.75 for 250 that was including shipping and tax. From the looks of the primers they were probably federal match.
I'm not even going to bother trying anything with it.

I was originally looking for a large matching batch of lake city but it seemed, At least at the time of purchase, most of the good deals dried up.
Then started looking to buy Lapua but it seems they haven't made a run in at least a year.
That's when I came across this brand, without any information out there I talked with others and they had no experience with them either.

This morning I ended up order 500 pieces of once fired federal so that would be well off enough since I know is a decent brand for 223/556.
At least small rifle primers are obtainable. Large rifle is getting to be hit and miss, instead of always miss. Thank God I stocked up, down to may last couple thousand large. May as well buy loaded rounds and empty the brass yourself. Your almost at $.40 each now. Before powder and bullet. Loaded is around $.50 each around here for ;193 or 855.

I fully understand that, I have a 500 mag I actually enjoy shooting and the rifle primers have become unheard of for it.
Which is funny because I had bought that gun knowing it took large rifle and the market at the time supported the primers. Where feeding my small rifle primers were harder to get.

At the time of purchase large rifle were more available than the small rifle. Now it has flipped.

Might get ine of these
I have been looking at the Tisas 1911's. High quality at good price. Hammer forged barrel and forged frame and slide. Wide variety from G.I. to more tricked out. Comes in 10mm. Lot of good reviews on Tisas 1911's. Made in Turkey. I would give them a look. Good fit and finish.

Saw these at Cabela's for 50.00 off making them 279.00 no taxIMG_20240607_174612.jpgIMG_20240607_174539.jpg
Taurus is giving 3 free mags 13rnds for the compact in a promotion.
Everyone's favorite of the pistols i own
New shooter's and experienced shooter's love them
My other one has a red dot.
Probably 4k+ rounds through it no mechanical failures or stoppages just a few dead rounds.

I bought the duty .45 a few year's ago it's been excellent no issues at all
Very accurate and well built it was only 369.00
I liked it so much i bought the tanker version
It was only 339.00 back then.
I sold my 1996 Springfield it was a made in brazil pistol with the very blocky
2x4 feeling grip frame
I never liked those frames
The modern Springfields are much better made and comfortable.

My son was eyeballing those but has some other stuff to take care of.

I think they would be a nice choice.
Some of the idpa and silhouette guy's built up rock Island pistols and these boys have extremely high round counts through them
They are happy with them

I posted this in the other gun range thread too. I'm not sure if anyone else likes vintage AR's but Brownells has these reproduction C7 uppers on sale plus another 15% off.

https://www.brownells.com/gun-parts/rifle-parts/rifle-receivers-parts/ar-15-c7-stripped-upper-receiver/

I ordered one to build a loose clone of a Colt 605
If i ever get the desire to shoot ARs again i have a couple of m4s colt and windham
Myself i prefer the vintage style so I'll have my friend build me one one of these days
He's built many different ARs and has all the tooling.

I had one for a couple years in 308, rebuilt by Vulcan armoury. Excellent excellent rifle, very accurate, great sights and 3 more rounds than all other semi’s can hold in the great white north. I never get sellers remorse aside from that rifle and a 78 f250 I had

Been looking at 10mms lately. I've owned a Glock 9mm...it was fine.....im just not a fan of Glocks. I do like the Springfield XD and own a couple 45s. Fondled a M&P 10 mm a few times and love the ergonomics better than the other two. However, there's been numerous reports around the campfire of mag, feeding issues. Anyone have experience with the M&P10mm?

I've got a stash of 45 super brass that I've never got around to working up loads with. My XD tactical 45 has a Springer Precision guide rod. Uses standard 1911 recoil springs making tuning a non issue.

Shot an xdm 4.5 converted to 460 Rowland and it was quite impressive requiring very little hold over on steel plates even at 100yds.

The 10mms in my mind, are about the perfect compromise for the average Alaskan outdoorsman.. Offering adequate performance, high capacity in a fairly compact and light weight package. There's almost always crap tons of 10 mm ammo on the shelves up here as well.

I have a Sprinfield XD-M Elite 4.5" 10mm and absolutely LOVE it. I think the 10mm is an excellent cartridge. I fired 3 variations
of Underwoods "dangerous game" ammo and was pleasantly surprised at the recoil. The recoil was not much greater than
10mm range ammo and I can be a little recoil sensitive at times. Love what this Springfield has in standard equipment.
If I lived in Alaska I would definitely have a 10mm in my arsenal. And for me the XD-M Elite edges out the others IMO.

I have put about 100 rounds thru mine, I like it. I think a 10 mil would be a good one to have in general.

I snagged mine at an auction as I was checking out with some other goodies.
