You’re going to have new MS461 money in this saw.

I’d recommend doing 1 of 2 things-

1. Fix it back as a GS461 & sell it.

2. Bring the parts back that you purchased, get your money back, & part the saw out.

Dibs on that Tank. [emoji7]

Same crank as a 460?

Piston looks ok through ex port.

Did you check piston clearance?

I know parts have gone up on cost, but an oem seal kit and bearings should only set you back around $75 or so. Need an OEM PTO bearing and any good 6202 C3 for the fly side. I use SKF, but after one failed I’ve been a Nachi guy mostly.

So, what did you get for the $450 price tag?
I've had a nachi or two fail at very low hours sadly...

Were they the made in Japan ones? I've not had a Nachi failure that soon but I make I sure I buy the ones made in Japan.

I had an SKF failure at about two hours recently - the cage started to come apart.

I don't know for sure... I thought it was made in Japan, but I didn't realize that some of them were made elsewhere. I'll keep an eye on that in the future. Thanks!
It sent a little piece of the cage through the top end and trashed the piston.
