I’m wanting to possibly use it to mill on occasion just bc. What mods or custom work should I have done to it so I can make it happen? Who on here can make it happen.

Other than getting it running what will you do to it? Bigger piston? Big bore kit? Hybrid?

You don't want anything but an OEM or meteor piston in the stock size. Big bore kits are garbage. A hybrid with a 460 top end is a great saw, but I can't say I've seen anyone recommend them for milling. It's also expensive to make a hybrid. You'd probably have about the same money into it if you sell the 044 and buy a 066/660/394/395, which would be better than a hybrid for milling.

Not to put words in his mouth, but Kevin can clean up and port the original cylinder, or a replacement, plus go through the rest of the saw to ensure it's ready to roll. Porting it will up the power output and badassery substantially. I've done business with Kevin before, as have many other people here. I will again. My 365 runs great after visiting him.

Read this . I now own this saw and it is an absolute beast . This one is not ported . Drf256 said this particular saw would not gain that much from porting it since the original ports were so good . That said , I'm with Ryan Browne on the milling angle , go bigger than the 044 . + his other advise sounds good also.

Can do whatever you want depending on how deep your pockets are. If it’s a 10mm saw I wouldn’t try turning it into a hybrid. They run between 25-40% faster ported than they do stock depending what 044 cylinder is on it. If it’s a 12mm saw it could be a ported 046 hybrid. Totally up to you.
