Go to? MS260 20" for anything larger than my thigh MS180 14" for the small stuff. Both saws are about 5 or 6 years old.

I had an MS260, they are really good saws. I modified my muffler and used a wt-194 carb, and it ran pretty darn good.

MS362 is the most awesomest pile of goat turd I've ever used, too heavy to be a 357xp or ported 261c and too weak to be a 461, great combination

For a one saw that can do it all everyone knows I pick a 10 mm Stihl 044. That said, I could live just fine with a 362 C for limbing and a 460/046 for bucking.

My MMWS 460/046-D pulls a 36" bar in Oak just great! The 362 is lighter & smoother than the 044, and does not give up much power.

that's a big statement Mike.

Keep in mind that 362 is ported, and I advanced the timing. My 044 #1 is not ported, but is still a very strong saw. There is a noticeable difference on the larger stuff, but on the smaller stuff, the 362 is fast. I'm sure running square file helps em both.

I just got a 365 Special, but haven't got a chance to run it yet.

You'll like it Clint.

If I had to pick 1 it'd be my 262 that Termitebuffet did.

Very close seconds are my 346 which Termite also did along with my 7910. My 365sp is one noodling SOB. I sent it to a buddy in Indiana last month (Super3) to get ported and am going to pick it up tomorrow.

I've had two 372's and I've kicked them down the road, to me the 365sp seemed to be right on par with the 372, if not slightly stronger.

@super3 is a cool cat. I ran his 372 at my fall GTG 2014.

Well, my go to saw has been my awesome little PS-421! I have gotten decent at tuning it with a tach, which partially makes up for my piss-poor sharpening skills, and the thing is a little micro beast!
However, as I have just added a 562 to the mix, I am absolutely floored at what this saw will do with the monster ash, black cherry, and maple it has met. I sort of feel bad for the lil fella sitting there gathering dust. ;)
