Husqvarna 55 rancher on the small stuff and the Jonsered 670 Champ on the bigger wood.

Husky 55 Rancher for around the property.

Still rather shoot 'em down though, but then you have to cut em up to haul em off.

I have heard good things about hybrids too but I'm not taking a perfectly good 044/440 and converting it. Need to find a builder. Oh wait I found one today.

Hello all,
Glad to be here. Just wondering what your go to saw is?

Ayuh,.... That depends entirely on just where I'm goin' too,.....

For limbin', 'n trimmin', my Stihl 290/ 20" bar,....
If I'm blockin' logs into rounds, my Stihl 460, or the ole 044 once I finish it's rebuild,.... 20" or 25" bars,...

If I'm breakin' down pallets, or trimmin' the lilacs, or doin' chainsaw carpentry, my Echo hi-handle limbin' saw, 14" bar,....

I agree with you but I had a builder with no top. My 44 had a good jug and I had a spare 046 jug.

I will. Mine is on its way to Cottle Ln., along with an 046 top end. It's a nice saw that runs good, but I want a hybrid.
