It's all good, P.M.P.....I think maybe the moderators should set up a beginner's area on the forum here for dudes like me... :)

Thanks, Ferguson....funny I was thinking about that too (rain going in, though it doesn't rain much here)...That cap would give it even more wow factor, especially if it had some clank to it :) ....I know during the summer here I'm gonna have to put a cap on it when I'm not using it. We got so many critters that would love that tunnel! Agree about the cc thing....I've taken down some sizeable trees with my small saws (it wasn't too easy)....but for my purposes (taking down smaller trees, trimming, getting firewood), what I have is plenty. I live in a desert not a forest! Plus I absolutely hate spending forever sharpening those longer chains....My brother got me the Stihl for Christmas this year. It's supposedly all tuned up and ready to go....The exhaust is practically a pin hole to make the EPA happy. If I mess with it I void the warranty. And mess with it I shall!....I want to wake that sucker up!

Buy an extra muffler on Fleabay and mod it as you like. Keep the original to put back on in case you have to take it in for warranty work.
