Im in ft pierce 15 min from stuart. I make a custom cobia jig too very similar to the snook bucktail there fun to sight cast to in a tower when they are free swimming on rays or in grass lines i hooked a big one last night i never saw smoked me burnt drag and pow it was over that fast. Fishing 80 lb leader 50 lb braid snooks gill plates are like razors

My cousin owns a flooring biz he sorta inherited from my uncle, before my uncle moved back up here.
He also dabbles a bit in guiding on the water.
Also been known to wrestle a gator or 2

Ive done the gator hunts some fishing in ft pierce stuart jupiter sebastion area is some great fishing both inshore and offshore

You are in the best area for snook on the jetties.
Some good boats built in that area too.
Getting off land for a few hours is good therapy.

Here are 10 Sz18 BH Pheasant Tail nymphs sittin on a penny. Tied these last night.
Tying some silver Copper Johns this AM in the same size.

man those things there for catching bait. Pretty work. I use the big jigs like cracker showed. 7 8 9/0 sized stuff

Y’all caused me to walk out in the cold. I obviously didn’t tie the crank bait.... the first parachute rig in picture 1 I did not tie. I now have the mold to make those as well. It’s an 8 ounce head. Run that and a 4 ounce under it tied to the same leader. Need a good extra heavy rod to deal with those. I drag those around in a spread behind the boat in the mouth of the Delaware bay or out to 3 mikes in the ocean. Can’t hunt striped bass past the 3 mile line............

First trip out after injury snook fishing on my bucktails i hand tie my buddy and i got our keeper snook last night it was tough. 20 mph winds fishing jetty i missed one had one break me off he got an over sized and a keeper and i got my keeper. Its tough 1 fish limit 28 to 32 in slot limit.im a little sore today but proud View attachment 110228

Some of them guys shoot them cobia off bull sharks fug that

Bull sharks are bad news. Had one around a dock for weeks. It would steal fish and kept everyone from swimming.

Last night wasnt as good i hooked one that came to surface tail walked and throw my jig. Then i caght a 38 in monster and my buddy caught his keeper an 2 at 34 in wich were to big as well. Tide was totally diff. We lost alot of tackle
