Gonna start out with a disclaimer right off the bat here , I am not the sharpest knife in the butcher block, especially when it comes to mathmetac equasions
I have two full one gallon cans of pre mix,one @ 40 the other one @ 50. My desire is to add some premium oil ( dominator or red armour ) to each of them to bring them both down to 32. I have ZERO clue as to how to figure that out. I have one of those old small containers use that has the dilution ratioso on it , but thats if its being mixed with straight fuel, can someone help me out with the math how much to put in each -- or direct me to a site / link that would figure it out. I done looked all over the web before i asked

50:1 = 2.6 ounces oil per gallon,
40:1 = 3.2 ozs
32:1 = 4.0 ozs

Thanks for the reply, I know / knew what the dilution ratio is for mixing in straight fuel / gas.
What I am asking is how much more oil would I have to add to a gallon that is already 40 & 50 :1 to bring it to 32:1

Looks like 1.4oz in the 50:1 can and .8 oz in the 40:1 can

What kind of oil is in the premix? I'm not an expert either but have read that some oils shouldn't be mixed together. Maybe an expert will chime in.

Well I am not sure -- its a pre mix from Rural King. The company is SuperS
I will be mixing my own from now on with either dominator or red armor @32 : 1, but just dont want to give away a full can of pre- mix that I already paid for

I wouldn't give it away either. I would run the 40 and maybe add some oil to the 50 if possible, or maybe run it in a weed Wacker or something. It will stay good for years.

If you have a cellphone go into your APPs and you will find
one called fuel/oil mix. Grab that and it will do metric and
imperial and it's got a full range 1 to 1 to as high as you want to go.
I have on my cell and use it all the time.
Few of you other readers may like it too.
