Fuel color before mixing

The mobil I grab e-free from its usually quite clear, after I mix it with my maxima k2 it looks like bad gas. Sure like the way it smells burning though .

My K2 is bright red.... a little diesel dye goes a long ways.

Many times I just mix at 45:1 and then add a splash of whatever other mix I have that has more dye in it. I often have other mixes that I buy cheaper or have people give me, sometimes in saw deals that I don't want to run straight(like stihl ultra), works great and it all gets used up or given to friends that don't care.
