Shock! So whatever this is it came from the factory that way. I wonder if the shop at the dealer would have diagnosed it.

I mean, this isn't the end of the world. Just annoying. Could it be an oily clutch or something? It isn't bad when the blade is already spinning. And there is a chance I have the adjustment off, too.

Start at factory carb settings and tune from there. As cut4fun said seating the L needle is leaning it out CCW will richen it which is what I guess it needs. I think a proper tune will fix the bog.

H: Open 1 1/2 turns Low speed screw L: Open 1 1/4 turns Special servicing tool Screwdriver 5910 890 2307

has a new style wtf carb

High was at 2 1/4 and low was at 3/4. Reset the high to the same but opened the low to 1 1/2 cause I forgot what it was supposed to be. I hope to have time to try it out over the weekend.

Started it on lunch. Smokes a lot at idle and still bogs. Not as bad but still with the RRRRRRRR. Defintely still there. I am going to try to get a video, if I remember. You know those videos of fallers where they have the whole bar burried and they peg the throttle? That RRRR while the saw gets up rpm under load? Yeah, that sound. Is no load except for a shredder blade but does it with a tri blade too.

I might could get a brand new Husqvarna 336FR shipped to me for $480. I am tempted to sell the fs240 and pick up the 336fr. If they keep stock, the 336fr sale goes through friday. Not just because of this, I very much dislike Stihl's part distribution system. I just can't always make it to the dealer only to find out they have to order the part.
