How long did it take to get it down, and what grit paper did you use?
Will do. I haven't much use for a 660, so this saw probably won't see many hours or extended run times. If it builds excessive heat, I may consider raising the exhaust port. If it's too slow, I'll run a larger sprocket.Yea, I would, but if you get new #s after the lowering, please share.
So a couple a dudes who know chit ( @mdavlee & @Redfin ) said they would run at .016" squish, which is always an option.
How much compression is too much?
Keep in mind this saw has no real world use or life span expectations. It can be considered a race / play saw that is expendable.
saw is still apart, but not for long.
Probably not. I think the cross jug has pretty good compression with a gasket delete.I doubt you will get over 200 without a pretty good squish band cut
