That one is still on there. A buddy of mine asked me to help on it, but they won't let you drive in the yard. Too dang big to carry to the road or driveway up hill!

How do they expect you to get it out? Helicopter? Split it in place and carry it out split by split? Will they let you take an ATV back there to haul rounds out?

It sounds like that should be a paying job to me.

Not sure. I just know they said no vehicle in the yard. It ain’t worth it, especially for me. He has a place he cuts all the time and I said forget it! I have a another friend with a mini skid loader and they said no to it as well. It isn’t steep or a low area, but it is an incline. I told them to pretty much “GFY”!

So I guess attaching a chain and dragging it to the road is also a NO-GO huh?:applaudit:

Oak Logs for Firewood or Projects (Nashville (North Inglewood, Greater East Nashville))

Red oak.

Ok to cut up the logs here and take all or part with you. There are heavy, 6 foot sections /36 inch diameter, several in good shape for projects or firewood. Chainsaw necessary, log spitter would be helpful to you.

You'll need to remove these yourself and there is no way to pull a truck near it. Anything you see needs to be rolled or carried to the driveway for loading (about 25 yards away and these are very heavy). Or split where it lays to carry out smaller pieces.

If you cut up and take away the largest piece I'll pay you $50. It's in the first photo.

Text if interested.

Free Trees for Firewood (Culleoka)

We have some downed trees that are good for firewood. We also have some dead and live trees that need to be cut down. We only ask that you take everything away. We have a nice old driveway that provides easy access.

There is a mixture of hardwoods - quite a bit of ash. This property has been logged a few times, so loggers won't find anything valuable. These trees are great for firewood, though. We have more than we can ever use. No need to email about whether we still have the wood available. We have 12 acres of forest.

You will have to cut and haul anything you want. Eligible trees will be marked with orange paint. Give us a call or send us an email! 931-548-2770

Good oak wood plus $100!!
https://chattanooga.craigslist.org/zip/d/collegedale-good-oak-wood/7069107194.html
I have some good oak wood for free, epb came out and cut part of a big oak tree and didn't take the logs, they all are in about 3 feet sections and will be good fire wood. The rest of the tree is still up and I have the rope in the top to pull it if someone wants to bring a little help and cut it down they can have all of the wood and I have a small saw I can help cut up and load. This is a big tree at the bottom it would take a good size saw to cut it. But like I said if someone wants to bring a little help I will have a couple people here you can have all the wood and I will give $100, we can back right up to the wood to load it.
