I run both a 590 and a 620pw. The 590 is standard issue, everyone should have one. Its the greatest budget saw of all time!
If you’re content with leaving the 590 largely stock, they’re great bargains. If you plan on making it on par with a 620, start with a 620; the 300$ difference will quickly disappear if trying to upgrade the saw.

I agree 100%. But if you leave the 590 largely stock its the "greatest budget saw of all time". Peace! 👍

Cool to watch them timberwolf saws being put together:

Interesting at 2:29 on that video, how they're zeroing out the crankshaft alignment. Just whack it with a hammer! LOL But seriously, it's really interesting how "calibrated" a hammer strike can be with lots of experience.
