Fool proof saw?

I run both a 590 and a 620pw. The 590 is standard issue, everyone should have one. Its the greatest budget saw of all time!

If you’re content with leaving the 590 largely stock, they’re great bargains. If you plan on making it on par with a 620, start with a 620; the 300$ difference will quickly disappear if trying to upgrade the saw.

I agree 100%. But if you leave the 590 largely stock its the "greatest budget saw of all time". Peace!

Cool to watch them timberwolf saws being put together:

Interesting at 2:29 on that video, how they're zeroing out the crankshaft alignment. Just whack it with a hammer! LOL But seriously, it's really interesting how "calibrated" a hammer strike can be with lots of experience.

Put together cases today and it would not spin freely. Tapped on both clutch side and FW side with center punch and hammer to center and still hard to turn. Noticed crank looked wonky. Here is pic!

Forgot to mention, when I travel to population centers, sometimes ill take on random tree jobs.

I always leave a 590 timberwolf in the wood truck. I've made quite a bit of money with that dmn 590! It will do ANY job i might encounter. If the tweaker pirate captain crack sparrow breaks into my tool box, im only out $440.

Tweaker version of being "on the fence" regarding a decision. The ecosystem is restored. :

Tweaker geographic is absolutely the greatest thing since (fill in the blank!) I am so glad I never got that bad.... It's scary to think, when I watch those videos that could have been me!!
