Nice afternoon today cutting up some trees I dropped last weekend on a friends property. Love it when the log holder is there.

40" handle how tall are you? I'm 5'9 and really like the 36" handle on the fiskars even though some folks told me I would find it to long.
I am no giant, about 189cm or so.
Look at my splitting videos.
I split the rounds into slices on the ground, then lift the slices up onto my chopping block and further split them down holding the ax one handed.
Also, the long handle gives the fairly lightweight ax head a good swing and impact force utilizing gravity instead of brute muscle force.

I tried 36" handles on this particular ax, it was as if the ax wasn't the same anymore - for the worse!

My cousins name is dustin. I think hes a little scared of the big saws. Only saw he has any real time on is a cs 310 I cut the cat out of and retuned. I offered to let him run the 7910 while you where touching up your chain and he seemed uncomfortable with the idea.

Been cutting nothing but EAB killed ash for the last two years. Currently, here are two of my log piles from the last six months or so....
IMG_2046.JPG IMG_2049.JPG

Last spring I hauled a whole bunch of these out of the woods .......

.......which yielded several piles that looked like this one.....
IMG_1371.JPG

.....which ended up making about 80 or so of these with a bunch still in a pile.
