That's great work on the charts fellers, but I'd have to disagree with some of the drying times. At least for the East coast. West coast maybe , but not up here.;)
I have to agree with that. Drying times are indeed nebulous. Not sure if it means in the round or split. Split logs dry twice as fast as large logs in the round--maybe three times faster. Some oak logs in the round never seem to dry out.

I agree. It also depends on your location and climate. Where I am splits dry out really quick. Wind and sun. I do not cover any of my wood.
