That is a pretty cool idea for some closed boost ports. I would like to have seen the welding on them when he was done. I do not know how thick the aluminum is there or the tubing he used. I can definitely see the possibilities there.

The other thing I see is when welding how will the heat affect the plating in the cylinder being that it is so close to it. Or I guess he could epoxy it.

He either tacked it on and JB weld or welded the whole thing. I can't remember for sure.
