What is going on! I went to Farmertech and ordered a few parts for a 044, $13 dollars, when it got to pp and at the last second they added $135 shipping to the order! was able to back out but WTF is that!!!!!
It didn't give one, I checked shipping after putting the first couple items in and it was 3 or 4 dollars. Then it wouldn't let me look at shipping again until I was to hit the final pay now and it popped in at the bottom!
That's odd I ordered some small stuff like intake blocks and screw for a 272 from them and shipping wasn't more than 10 bucks iirc. This was last year or so.
If you create a login for their website they will then have your address after you log in. You can them keep clicking from cart to checkout and will show shipping price before you get to PayPal. There is a huge jump when you get to 2 kilos. Under that it’s china post and will usually max out at $20-$30 shipping. Add a few more items and over 2 kilos and it’s $50. I have saved $30 shipping by placing 3 smaller orders vs one large order. For some items it’s cheaper to order from them on eBay with “ free shipping”
I didn't stick around to see what happened next, 103 dollars shipping on a $13 purchase at the last minute is a flat rip off. If I hadn't double checked, I would be out the money!
something wasn’t right there. That happened to me once and I sent them a message. They must have product weights listed for their shipping estimate. One item apparently had 10 kilos listed as the weight instead of .10 kilo and shipping was coming up crazy. They thanked me and corrected it. Instead of $150 shipping it was like five bucks after they fixed it. Do you remember what items were in your cart?
At the bottom of the page (left hand side) on every item befofe you click the add it to the basket there is a shipping cost clicky thing. Click on that and a new page opens with the price of shipping.
I did that on the first two items and it was like a buck fifty each, the other items were the same size or smaller so I didn't bother. Guess I'll look again and see if I can figure it out now that I know that I can back out.
If you're only getting a few small thing aliexpress is way cheaper. Idk how they do shipping there but I've bought something for 99 cents before and it had free shipping from China
