I recently put a new hyway P&C in and can't seem to lean out my carb enough. I ran the saw on the original farmertec carb but had a caber ring fail that wrecked the piston and cylinder. I tried a meteor piston and cylinder first but there were issues with them the piston didn't fit in the cylinder so I sent it back trying the hyway next. The casting looks cleaner on the hyway than the meteor or the farmertec, but I did notice the piston on the intake side is a bit shorter than either the farmertec or meteor were? I have my high jet all the way in and max out around 12250 rpms? I also might have a small vaccuum leak argh, I just replaced the seal on the clutch side and didn't have any leaks but now when the saw is on its side for felling a tree the saw picks up rpms.

any ideas I have another cheap carb to try next
