Two days in the grinder. Eucalyptus is always a challenge. This last Saturday and Sunday at the coast, surprisingly warm for the coast.

Anyone ever have trouble, with saws cutting green eucalyptus? My climber thinks my saws had a hard time, due to burrs on the bar. I had Em sharp, the chains, but man never had trouble cutting Eucalyptus like this.

Never cut it, but if it can pull sand up into the wood like Locust, that would do it!

Burrs on the bar with a half shot chain will grab de burr the bar and se if the chain has some side to side slop in the bar. Old wore out bars won't cUT well when a chain is half way used up

Didn't have to take down, but now I get to do clean up. Fortunately don't have far to go to get the one in the wood shed. Was not home when they came down. That's why not more pictures.
Dead Ash ash borer got all of them here, Alleghany County Va.
Last picture cute to look at but they eat almost everything out side especially what you don't want them to.

Nice tree trunk.
Did two big crazy looking red cedar trees like that five years ago. Saved the trunks for milling. All purple and maybe spalted by now. They been on wet shady ground covered in green moss for five years. I'm going to open them up in the fall.
