You all should see that entire coast, the views are to die for. I have been lucky enough to have seen it all while travelling down from Anchorage Alaska ,through the Yukon, BC, Washington state, Oregon and California as far South as Mexico, I never get enough of that coast.

I've been to sanfran when a kid on vacation and it has been a bucket list trip of sorts to drive up the west coast one day and walk among some of the standing redwoods out there. One day I hope to make it happen.

Do it!! If at all possible. The number 1 highway winds along the Coast of Cali at times you are just on the brink of falling off into the ocean. I am from the East coast and we have a beautiful coastline here but the West coast has a different feel to it. Must also add, take time to walk quietly among the Redwood and Sequoia trees, almost like being in a cathedral, at least to me it is.

Ever once in a while a guy gets a free pass. Taking down a split down the middle ash tree (homeowners were concerned it was going to split all the way and fall on shed house etc. Tight backyard so my guy was in boom cutting and throwing pieces down and I knew he was cutting. I went under him to drag a branch out. Then the piece he was cutting went fast and he missed his grab and then got my bell rung hard. I had ms261 in my hands running and dropped to the ground but got back up fine. Just a little stunned. Here's why we wear helmets though! I get flack from people about the helmets as they seem to think they are a joke. No joking about this. It was my fault as he knew I knew to be out of the way. I was where I shouldn't have been.

It takes a lot to crack these helmets. It put a dent in it and crack isn't on a seem ether.

You were lucky, imagine the damage if you wern`t wearing the skull bucket.!
I have been saved twice by just having my hat on, first hit was hard enough to snap two of the suspension straps right off and split the helmet, second time the helmet split worse than yours, both times could have been lights out for me. Work safe and wear the gear!

Ground six stumps yesterday. Have nine in a cemetery to do and a few others. Some tree work calls to follow up on.
