So i need a new trimmer. I trim a large hillside by the road that takes. A little over an hour to do. I have the 2620U brush cutter and am impressed with its power but is heavy without the harness. I see the 2320T has the high torque head and is a few pounds lighter than the 2620. Weight is a concern due to how long i will be using it at one time. I am only interested in Echo. My current trimmer is a husky 223L that has never worked well and has crapped out.

So, im leaning towards the 2320 but i dont see alot of feed back on them yet.

Wow. We are identical! Gut tells me to go 2620.

Anybody think the 2620T is worth the extra dough?

I have the Shindawia T262 the red version of the 2620 and love it. The way it balances you don’t really feel the weight.

So.....

I ordered a 2620T from my dealer and i am super pleased. Can definitely tell it has more azz than my 2620U. Only have half a tank through it so far. Can't wait till it gets fully broke in.

Only down side was it took 30 mins to adjust it to the trimmer mount on my mower. :D

From my experience with the 2620 before it was stolen the MM was all it needed. Felt that it had enough power without a timing advance or a base gasket delete

I am not messing with any of it. It runs damn well the way it is. :)

I was only kidding lol. I wouldn't do anything to a wacker other than something that would prolong its life.

An MM probably would prolong its life. Before I gutted the cat, I got my elbow burnt because the engine cover got so hot. After the MM it ran way cooler and I didn’t get burned.

This is true.

I just bought the 2620T and I ran across this thread-what in God's name is an "MM"? I understand the burning of the elbow on the engine cover-I have a good scab on my arm.
