While we're on the subject, who has the best price on RA? I've found the 6.4oz bottles are the best deal by far over the gallon jugs.

I bought a gallon off evilbay for 70 about a year ago. Stens had a deal on the 6 pack of small bottles. I picked up a couple. Got to stop buying oil. Got 4 or 5 different kinds.

I think I got a local source for 2.75oz per dollar when you buy 300oz. That sure beats 1.83oz/$

The only time oil could lay on top of the crank like that would be at bdc. I’m not entirely certain but I doubt most saws return to exactly bdc every time they’re turned off

I would be willing to bet a saw stops when it hit resistance a larger percentage of the time than any other position so likely somewhere above the exhaust a below TDC. It would be a mildly amusing thing to test.
